Medical Consultation Suite

System Description



The Medical Consultation Suite design will support a medical environment requiring direct consultation with staff, experts, and/or patients with enhanced data display capabilities. It provides a large format high definition (HD) or ultra-high definition (UHD) touch screen monitor. A UHD monitor provides extremely detailed resolution that is important for detailed examination of x-ray and MRI images. The system includes video teleconference capability for connecting with specialists and remote patients and supports telemedicine services. The touch screen option allows easy arrangement of displayed material on the screen and window size modification with a touch of the finger. Headphones are included for increased audio acuity when needed and confidential conversions. The entire system is packaged in a roll-in workstation that can be installed in a matter of hours, and use is no more complicate than a laptop.

VTC Standard Executive System

System Description



The VTC Standard Executive System design will support an executive-level room layout with one (1) High Definition (HD) display, one (1) HD camera and one (1) HD codec. The distance from the display to the head of the table should not exceed 17 feet for general viewing purposes. There will be a 1-bay credenza equipment rack to house most of the AV system components, the credenza will be located in the meeting-space and will be placed directly below the display.

The focus of the AV system will be one (1) wall-mounted HD flat panel display located on the front wall. The following inputs will be available as video sources for this display:

  • One (1) dedicated PC
  • One (1) HD VTC codec
  • One (1) HD VTC camera

Video capture will be supported by the dedicated HD VTC camera mounted below the display. The VTC codec will operate over a customer-furnished IP network connection. Included with the codec is one (1) year of maintenance. Additional options are available.

Audio pickup will be provided by one (1) tabletop boundary microphone. Audio playback will be provided through the built-in display speakers.


Both video and audio systems will be controlled over a single (1) dedicated 10-inch wired touch panel interface AV control system. The touch panel will enable the user to select and route sources to the VTC codec and display. The touch panel and microphone can be left on the credenza and moved to the conference room table when the system is in use, the touch panel will be connected to the system via a cable “whip”. From the touch panel, users will be able to control the following:

  • Display – On/Off
  • Select and route video/audio sources to the display
  • HD VTC System
    • Dial call, end call, directory, mute microphones
  • HD VTC Camera
    • Pan/Tilt/Zoom

VTC Standard Medium Conference Room

System Description



The VTC Standard Medium Conference Room design will support a medium-sized room layout with two (2) High Definition (HD) displays, one (1) HD camera and one (1) HD codec. The distance from the display to the head of the table should not exceed 21 feet for general viewing purposes. There will be a 2-bay credenza equipment rack provided in the meeting room to house most of the AV system components. The displays shall be mounted directly to the top of the credenza.

The focus of the AV system will be two (2) high definition (HD) flat panel displays mounted to the top of the credenza located at the front wall. The following inputs will be available as video sources for the displays:

  • One (1) dedicated PC
  • One (1) HD VTC codec
  • One (1) HD VTC camera

Video capture will be supported by the dedicated HD VTC camera wall-mounted between the displays. The VTC codec will operate over customer-furnished IP network connections. Included with the codec is one (1) year of maintenance. Additional options are available.

Audio pickup will be supplied by six (6) tabletop boundary microphones. A microphone mixer will be installed for mixing microphone signals. Audio playback will be provided through a pair of wall-mounted speakers.

The touch panel will enable the user to select and route sources to the VTC codec and display. The touch panel and microphone can be left on the credenza and moved to the conference room table when the system is in use, the touch panel will be connected to the system via a cable “whip”. VTC Standard Large Conference Room

System Description



The VTC Standard Large Conference Room design will support a large room layout with two (2) High Definition (HD) displays, one (1) HD camera and one (1) HD codec. The distance from the display to the head of the table should not exceed 25 feet for general viewing purposes. There will be a 3-bay credenza equipment rack in the meeting-room for housing most of the AV system components. The subcontractor shall assume that this rack will be placed directly below the dual display.

The focus of the AV system will be dual (2) wall-mounted high definition (HD) flat panel displays located on the front wall. The following inputs will be available as video sources for these displays:

  • One (1) dedicated PC
  • One (1) HD VTC codec
  • One (1) HD VTC camera

Video capture will be supported by the dedicated HD VTC camera wall-mounted between the displays. The VTC codec will operate over customer-furnished IP network connections. Included with the codec is one (1) year of maintenance. Additional options are available.

Audio pickup will be supported by eight (8) tabletop boundary microphones. A microphone mixer will be installed for mixing their signals. Audio playback will take place through a pair of wall-mounted speakers. Voice reinforcement within the room will be provided through an overhead speaker system.

Both video and audio systems will be controlled over a single (1) dedicated 10-inch wired touch panel interface AV control system. The touch panel will enable the user to select and route sources to the VTC codec and display. The touch panel and microphones will be located at the conference room table when the system is in use, the touch panel will be connected to the system via Wi-Fi or a cable “whip”. From the touch panel, users will be able to control the following:

  • Display – On/Off
  • Select and route video sources for display
  • Select and route audio sources for playback
  • HD VTC System
    • Dial call, end call, directory, mute microphones
  • HD VTC Camera
    • Pan/Tilt/Zoom
