The HUBZone Program has many benefits for small businesses in government contracting, but it also has a tremendous impact on the local community. GovSmart put this mission into practice by investing in a brand new office building located in Charlottesville, VA. The nearly 10,000 square foot facility is across the street from their previous location and gives them the additional space needed to continue providing job opportunities to the local community. The new space boasts a large sales floor, a 3D printing lab, an executive suite, and all of the amenities expected in a modern workspace.
The SBA program requires at least 35% of employees be located within a HUBZone, meaning GovSmart is truly making a positive impact on their community through this investment and the job opportunities it provides to local residents.
